“The students from St. Rose speak highly of their preparation for Joliet Catholic Academy. They feel especially strong in their preparation for English classes. St. Rose gave them a basic knowledge of the Catholic Faith for success with our religion classes. The transition to JCA was easy because of the solid basic foundation learned at St. Rose. The family environment at St. Rose helps them step into another family.” Mike Nadeau, Principal Joliet Catholic Academy
“Students from St. Rose of Wilmington are well prepared as they enter Providence Catholic High School. They excel in every academic area and play a significant role in our spiritual family.” Donald Sebestyen, Principal Providence Catholic High School
“It is evident to us at McNamara that students from St. Rose have already developed excellent study habits and have a high value for learning. The names of St. Rose students can be found throughout our Honor Roll lists. In addition, St. Rose graduates involve themselves in a variety of extra-curricular experiences often times ascending to leadership positions. These are characteristics, which are not only a testimony to St. Rose School but also are the cornerstones of the McNamara Difference which leads to productive young Christian men and women.” James R. Laurenti, Principal Bishop McNamara High School
We are proud parents of three St. Rose Children. When our oldest son was in second grade, we chose to switch out three children from public school to St. Rose School. The transition was quite simple. Our children and we considered the experience exciting and pleasurable. Since that fall, five years have passed and we reflect that this was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We recognize the academic excellence at St. Rose School throughout each grade level, but especially appreciate the atypical benefits instilled at St. Rose. Each of our children has become a better public speaker than we could have imagined. Their friendships span all grade levels and their support for each other is outstanding. We see the benefits of programs such as “prayer pals”, a pairing of an older student with a younger student, when the students’ friendships and appreciation for one another extends beyond scheduled activities. After-school activities are a blessing in that every child is welcome to participate, and confidently performs well at each activity they choose to be involved in. We proudly recommend St. Rose School to our friends because we appreciate the education, friendships, social atmosphere, and religious foundation each student experiences. Our children are better people today because of St. Rose School. Chris and Jeannie Bell |
